They treat you as an individual.The counselors at Summer Sky helped me get back some of the respect I had lost for myself.Summer Sky is the reason I'm alive this very day. I was at the lowest point in my addiction when my family brought me in for treatment. I learned so much about myself and my addiction on just the first week.I know now that I can stay sober. Them kitchen gals cook almost as good as my grany. My family almost didn't know me when I finished my treatment.Thats a good thing.

I was so tripped out. But I called and talked to my counselor from Summer Sky. She helped me get a grip.Its been hard going but I been sober ever since. Every day gets easier.Although sometimes I do have really bad days. They are fewer and farther between. I want to thank God first and then my Summer Sky family. I wouldn't have made it this far without you.

     Coming to pick me up from Tyler TX was what saved my life. If I would have had to ride the Greyhound Bus I would not have made it to treatment. Summer Sky drove all the way to Tyler to pick me up. What a blessing.

You have brought joy back into my life, gave me a reason to live again. You are the only reason I am here today, because without the help I got from Summer Sky I would have overdosed on drugs. I can’t thank you enough for how grateful I am to have been touched by ya’ll. I am 28 years old and I have never really known what I wanted to do with my life or where it was going, but because I have been so blessed to been given a chance to go to Summer Sky I want to become a counselor and help addicts just like myself. I want to show them what Summer Sky showed me, I want to help bring back life into peoples life and show them they are loved. I have recently enrolled in classes and can’t wait to start my life. You Summer Sky have opened so many doors for me and opportunities to pursue that would have never emerged if I hadn’t come clean. Seriously you are my life savor. I would recommend anyone and everyone to Summer Sky. The food is amazing and each and every one of the employees at Summer Sky welcomed me with open arms. Summer Sky didn’t stereotype they didn’t judge they got to know who I was and why my addiction occurred. I have never been so thankful for anything than I am for the second chance at life that Summer Sky have opened my eyes to. Thank you Summer Sky.
